It's not often that I admit to "tooting my own horn." Number one, because that phrase is a cliche, and as an editor, I avoid cliches like the plague. (Oops, there I go again.)
This past Saturday, the
Colorado Independent Publishers Association held its annual Evvy Awards, and I am proud to announce that all three of the books I edited that were entered in the contest won awards.
Elephant Walk, Balancing Business Performance and Brand Strategy For the Long Haul by Patrick Smythe won first place in the Business/Finance Category.
A Sandy Stockings Saga, I Wanna Be, by John Jacobs won third place in the Juvenile Category.
The Price of Ovulation, The Truth About Fertility Drugs and Birth Defects and a Solution to the Problem, won third place in the Non-fiction/Experience Category.
They are all available for purchase at
TendrilPress.com or Amazon.com. The authors and publisher all make more money if you order from TendrilPress.com directly.
I also want to offer my congratulations to Author's Coaching Network (ACN) member
Melanie Mulhall who received an award for her editing, and also edited award-winning books, including the First Place winner in the category Self-Help,
Bless Your Mess, by my good friend Ashi.
And, of course, kudos to ACN member
Judith Briles whose book
Stabotage, , took second place in the Business category.
It was a great night.
