WOW! Intriguing! I would definitely pick it up! I'd like to know more about it - can you send me back cover?

By-the-way, have you checked out CIPA? We are the largest international writer's group in the world. The networking and help you would get is priceless - annual membership is $99!

Cool - thanks Judi! I'll send it out. And, by-the-way, my program, "The WrIte Story" is for ALL children - we write and illustrate an entire book - in 4 hours! My program also includes an assembly and my Autism Awareness program (for adults)... ALL for $30 per child!! Nothing charged to the school!

Let's 'do lunch' this week - if you can! My hubby and boys are camping until sometime Thursday... call me - 303-875-8742

WOW!
Your 3rd book?!?!? WOW!

Yes, let's do lunch soon! I'd love to sit & talk & eat, etc!

We've changed staff in our special ed dept. at school, I'll have to find out who is dept. chair now. I won't know that until the beginning of school in Aug. You could just send your materials to:
Douglas County High School
Attn. Special Ed Dept. Chair
2842 Front St.
Castle Rock, CO 80104
That way whoever it is this year will get it during the summer & hopefully will get back to you before the school year starts. Just a thought.

Hey!
I figure it's about time I get my patootie in gear! I'm really close to having this thing done for editing/condensing. I'm finished with my section & need to get in & work on my birth father's section. I'm also waiting on my birth mother to email me her section. It's coming along.

Hi Rhonda,
Thanks for the invite, I started the book, a fantasy novel some years ago and haven't had the time to work on it lately, but I want to get back to it. I've also started writing song lyrics for fun. There's a lot I want to do as president of the club if I can. One of the first challenges is going to be the equipment inspections at the lakes.

See ya!

Hi Rhonda,
Thanks for joining the network.
I so appreciate connecting with you at CIPA. Thanks for your valuable feedback. FYI, our member Debra Berndt's partner is completing his PhD and works with autistic kids, may be a good connection for you. Leave her a comment and let her know what you are up to.
Best,
Robin

Author, Coach/Consultant
What are you looking for? How can we help you? What do you want to share?
I would like to help others with children on the Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Specifically, I would like to reach others through my 3-part program: 1) My 'Penguin Particulars' assembly teaches children to accept and embrace others who are different; 2) My disABILITY Awareness presentation teaches adults - from suspicion to success - how to build a bridge to children on the spectrum and 3) The WrIte Story program teaches groups of children to write an entire story, from cover to cover, in one day. EVERY child becomes a published author and illustrator - irregardless of their "abilities" - in this group project!
About Me:
I have been a published author since I was 17. I received an EVVY award for my first published book in 2004. My second book was published by Tate Publishing. Both are books for children. My third book, due out this summer, will be my first for adults and perhaps the 'real' focus of my writing. The title:
In Search of a Better Truth, The Mystery and Magic of Asperger's Syndrome.
