Hi Robin,
The topic Notes from the Waiting Room: Managing a Loved One's End of Life Hospitalization (includes: Choosing End-of-Life Care Without Hospitalization) addresses, although critical for everyone, is found distasteful or viewed with fear. I know, through experience, that dealing with it face-on actually relieves the accumulated, unspoken stress around it (or at least as much as is reasonable; let's say the extrinsic stress is relieved). One actually lives more by attending in advance to matters of dying. • I have yet to do the initial email blast and have yet to begin working the talk show radio database. I do have an idea for pitching a panel of citizen-author-experts, looking nationally for organizations with the money, muscle, and moxy to host and publicize such an event (my bibliography recommends others like myself whose books are must-carries for any hospitalization). Finding those organizations to pitch is now my primary interest.
