Greetings Aidana,

Is the book about five young men who grew (are growing up) in D.C. together? If so part of your goal is accomplished I'd imagine. However, had you not asked me to I may not have picked the book up because of it's cover design. You may want to include a sub-title and/or make the color scheme a bit more vibrant.

One of the worse things is to have a great book and not have people pick it up and turn over to read what the book is about because the cover didn't immediately grab them.

Assuming this book is a novel I must be honest in telling you that I rarely read novels, so while I'm keen on book marketing and promotions, I'm not your target market in terms of readership.

I hope this was constructive criticism that helps you. Feel free to download and read BOOK PIMPING!

Got it done. The working title is Permission to be Tough: Shaping Boys to be Rugged Gentlemen. It's a whole new look and perspective on the need for men to be men.

Love the Ink Well cover. I don't get the Rat Pack subtitle or the DC silhouettes. Like the human images and the tear. Very masculine feel with a bit of anger to draw the eye. Good luck on your designs.
